Le
Buet is a hamlet situated between the village of Vallorcine
and Argentiere. It is 1 hour 15 minutes from Geneva airport
by car or you can take the train from Geneva airport to Martigny,
change there and ride the Mont Blanc express up the hill to
Le Buet station - 1 minute walk from our chalets! |
For
the start of 2004/05 there is a new 8 person telecabine from
Vallorcine to the Le Tour ski area.
Snow permitting guests will be able to ski down to the lift
or take the train (three minutes ride away) |

Originally
part of the old railway station this building with its solid granite
walls and original oak stairs was converted by us in 1999. Initially
intended to be our home, it has been lovingly decorated and furnished
to a high standard creating a cosy feel with more personal effects
and detail than you might find in other self catered chalets. The
king size African bed hand made from dhow wood, the free standing
cast iron bath and the uniquely designed fireplace are a few of
the features that this chalet offers.
