The
chalet is a converted farmhouse of some 200 years old having originally
been a farm until a generation ago. It is located in one of the
quietest parts of Courchevel 1550 yet a few paces from the ski slopes,
lifts, ski school and other winter sports amenities.
About
15 years ago it was completely restored. Externally the outside
is in keeping with the local environment. Inside has been cleverly
modernised with timber ceilings and floors. It is privately owned
and run and has been furnished with a mixture of local antiques
and comfortable modern furniture. There are three sofas and easy
chairs in the sitting room plus a club fender around the open log
fire. The dining area is adjacent to the sitting room with a table
that seats 12.
Breakfast,
tea and dinner with wine is included.
