Chalet
Jamais Bleu
Chalet Jamais Bleu, a stunning chalet, built only three years ago
in typical Savoyard style combining modern living standards but
retaining traditional character and charm.
This
bright and spacious chalet with its comfortable open plan living
and dinning area, high-beamed ceiling and characteristic wood burner
provides a warm and pleasing ambience. From the balcony you can
take in the breathtaking views across the valley Bozel.
A
large terrace from the dining area enjoys hours of mid-day sun during
the finer days. The chalet is adjacent and conveniently located
at the foot of the Moretta Blanche piste. It is possible for all
levels of skiers to take the 100 metres run to the 12-man telecabine
with a ski-back to door or simple walk back to the chalet each day.
All
seven bedrooms provide fully en-suite facilities with showers. Last
season the introduction of the new seven seater outside “hot
tub” was warmly received by all who requested a soak the showers
were unable to provide. The town centre with its bars and shops
is just a 5-10 minute walk.
Cuisine
Start your day with porridge, cereals, yoghurts and locally baked
bread. This season we have enhanced our breakfast of cooked eggs,
with a daily accompaniment of one of the following such as bacon,
sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms and beans all served with fruit juices,
tea and fresh coffee.
Shortly
before dinner you will be invited to enjoy a glass of Kir with canapés
in the lounge area with your fellow guests. Your carefully prepared
dinner comprises three-courses complimented with selected French
wines followed by coffee and chocolates. The farewell dinner Friday
evening will give you a chance to sample the local cheeses accompanied
by a complimentary bottle of port.
Wednesday
is our host's day off - on this day breakfast will be laid out with
fresh bread, croissants and pain au chocolate being delivered to
your chalet. Afternoon tea will be available as usual. Your hosts
or representative will be delighted to recommend and book a local
restaurant for you for the Wednesday night out.
Early
dinner can be prepared for younger children and toddlers on request.
