All of the chalets have been constructed to the highest standards sporting many traditional Savoyarde touches and each year they are improved and updated.

The 2007/2008 season has seen the introduction of a new Swim Spa and a total refurbishment at Le Chardon, brand new bathrooms installed throughout Lafitenia in 2007, a new dining/sitting room in Mistral and in La Bergerie there is a new state of the art cinema and Wii entertainment room.

Situated in one of the most sought after addresses in the Alps, the ski in/ski out chalets are tucked away in an enclave above the resort.

Le Chardon Mountain Lodges are steeped in history. The roofs in Le Chardon and Kilimanjaro feature century old reclaimed beams, some from the old Val d'Isère church, and if you're staying in La Bergerie - spare a thought for the many shepherds who used these walls as protection against the elements in times gone by.

The pace of life in the chalets is dictated by the guests - whether a hard core snowboard fanatic, a fair-weather skier or even a non-skier/boarder - there really is something for everyone.

Each chalet is fully staffed with a gourmet chef, chalet manager, host and a chauffeur and vehicle.

If you need to take your work with you, WIFI and office facilities are standard in each chalet along with satellite television.

Situated in a private enclave above Val d'Isere Lafitenia is a 6 bedroom chalet, boasting breathtaking uninterrupted views down the Manchet Valley. Combining luxury and comfort with traditional touches and warm furnishings, the chalet is a cosy haven ideal for families and larger groups alike.

All 6 bedrooms have newly renovated ensuite bath or shower rooms, and the majority, access to the terrace or balcony. With large picture windows looking south, all rooms have a light and airy feel, complementing the sumptuous fabrics and comfy homeliness that is characteristic of this chalet.
After an active day on the slopes of the Espace Killy ski area choose to ski back or to be collected by your private chauffeur and taken back to Le Chardon where afternoon tea and cakes will be served. Choose to relax in one of the two private hot tubs with a glass of champagne or treat yourself to a full body massage organised by your private concierge. Alternatively you may choose to curl up in front of the open log fire before you enjoy a five course culinary experience from your very own gourmet chef.

In keeping with all five Le Chardon Mountain Lodges, Lafitenia boasts traditional Savoyard features, honey coloured beams, and cosy bedrooms to promote an atmosphere of alpine comfort and charm. These are ideal surroundings in which to base your Val d'Isere holiday, and once you have stayed there, you will be unwilling to stay anywhere else.
