The
Snow Co has selected these self catered apartments (built in
1999) for their excellent location in Avoriaz and for their good
quality. They are located at the bottom end of Avoriaz facing the
Cable Car which comes up from Les Prodains (Morzine). The village
is a short walk uphill made easy by using a lift through the neighboring
apartment block.
French
apartments are typically "compact", this residence is
more generous in space than most. We still advise booking a larger
apartment than is needed! The standard apartments are ideal for
2, the large ones are ideal for 4.
The
balconies face the sun and the slopes, you can enjoy sitting out
on a sunny day watching skiers coming down the mountain in front
of you.
At
the end of the day Avoriaz has numerous good quality restaurants
for your enjoyment. The supermarkets are well equipped for you to
self cater without much effort!
The Snow Co have no hesitation in recommending Avoriaz to all levels
of skier, it's especially good for families. But beware, Avoriaz
is stark and ugly from the outside but a great ambiance and its
own kind of charm awaits once on the inside. Below the high rise
blocks there's an appealing, traffic free, snow covered village,
so hold back your opinions until you've had a day or two there!
