La
Rosiere, a delightful
winter resort in the Tarentaise valley in France. La
Rosière is a wonderfully attractive well-kept
French secret. It has a lovely traditional rustic Savoyard
feel with low rise chalet-style accommodation built
mostly in wood and stone. With 150km of pistes, La Rosière
is part of the large Espace San Bernardo, linked to
La Thuile in Italy.
La
Rosière is at 1850m, south facing, enjoying lovely
sunshine with an enviable record for excellent snow
conditions and huge dumps of snow. La Rosière
often has the best snow whilst other resorts suffer
and it lasts to the end of the season. Queues are rare,
even during high season.

Chalet Renard is a beautiful recently refurbished
8+1 bed chalet with hot tub and stunning views across the valley.
The
chalet is carefully fitted with high quality wood and stone and
furnished with genuine French Antiques. We have meticulously refurbished
the chalet ourselves, adding new sofas, dining room table, chairs,
beds, high quality satin bed linen and amongst other improvements,
we have added a hot tub and in the bathrooms, gorgeous high quality
slate tiles from Italy, making it a chalet you will feel at home
in and want to come back to. The chalet is situated in the quiet
wooded residential area of Le Gollet, close to the centre of La
Rosière.
The
views from the south facing balconies are stunning, spanning for
miles across the Tarentaise valley. From the Hot Tub on the terrace
you can appreciate this truly magical location with a complimentary
glass of champagne!
On
the first floor there is a spacious and comfortable lounge area
with a warming log fire. The lounge has a high vaulted ceiling and
is tastefully decorated with relics from bygone alpine years including
a collection of cow bells hanging on a beam across the ceiling.
There is ample seating, complimented by a TV, DVD and CD player.
From
the dining room you can gaze at those amazing views whilst smelling
the gorgeous aromas of your food being prepared. The four bedrooms
are traditionally alpine and fitted with the same gorgeous dark
wood that you will find throughout the chalet. On the first floor,
the large double room has an ensuite bathroom with bath, tastefully
decorated with high quality Italian slate tiles and there is a small
twin with bunk beds, perfect for a family of four or a couple and
two friends.
.
On the second floor there are two twin/double rooms which share
a bathroom with bath. We can comfortably accommodate an extra bed
in the Den area for groups of 9 as well as cots in several rooms
for groups travelling with babies. The chalet has copious amounts
of hot water. As well as fluffy towels, comfy slippers and luxurious
bathrobes, we add small extras like complimentary relaxing essential
oils for the bath and candles for the ultimate chillout experience.
On
the ground floor there is a store room with a ski rack and heaters
to ensure your boots dry out over night ready for your day´s
skiing in comfort. Please refer to the floor plans when booking
as you may wish to select a particular room or floor.
Your
Chalet Hosts eat dinner with you. Chalet Renard is a non-smoking
chalet and ashtrays are provided on balconies for smokers.
Upper Floor Plan Lower Floor Plan
The chalet is suitable for individuals, couples, small or large
groups or families and corporate breaks. We are now able to offer
holidays for larger groups of up to 43 with accommodation in all
our three chalets which are very close to one another. If you are
a smaller group, a chalet holiday is a great way to meet new friends.
Everybody is welcome!
